Notes: This is the second puzzle in the Lotus Trilogy, boxes all inspired by the Lotus Table (also Pattern Box and Cafe Wall Table). You must interpret clues and manipulate the eight circular rings to make patterns that will release four drawers. Some isolated very light scratches on bottom (see photo). Interior stamp with Kagen's signature logo and edition number (of 100). Includes solution booklet, certificate of authenticity, and original packaging.

Lot 6474 - Rune Box

Notes: Box with six sliding panels, each with their own maze, indicated by the etched "rune" image. Once the box is opened, the panels can be removed and reconfigured to other assemblies. The Rune Box is an evolution of Kagen's Beast, 83 Move Box, and the five Waterfall Boxes, followed by the Maze Burr and RuneCube. This is the first from the maze box family that is reconfigurable. Made with narra panels and bubinga frame; limited edition of 30. Includes printed 38-move solution for current configuration. Also included is a thumb drive including copies of Kagen's handwritten notes detailing his original three configurations (16, 40, and 104 moves), and a complete analysis of 563 configurations! Notes: Unlock the box by sliding tiles to achieve some unstated goal (and getting started is not even clear!). This is similar to, but smaller than, the Block Box. Made from various shades of walnut, poplar, and curly maple. Limited edition of 150; includes original solution sheet and certificate of authenticity.
