Designer/Maker: Lee Krasnow Size: 7x7x7cm Notes: This is a structural redesign of the original Clutch Box which won the Puzzlers' Award in the 2003 Puzzle Design Competition. The hybrid design has a wooden exterior surrounded a metal core. As expected, the mechanism and construction is perfect: smooth and precise. Once solved, the core can be completely disassembled (another puzzle!) to reveal the mechanism. Exterior made from pao ferro, bubinga, and Macassar ebony; core made from aluminum, brass, and steel.
