Haleslock 1 - plus, Haleslock, Lock prototype by Shane Hales, Ranier Popp

Designer/Maker: Shane Hales, Ranier Popp

Size: 9x6x2cm

Notes: Lot updated: This lot now includes three items. First is a one-of-a-kind, oversized, version of the original Haleslock, used for a recent public demonstration in Germany. Lock body stamped on side with SH logo (double-stamped), and on top "L 1". Includes instructions, and thumb drive containing solution and slideshow of construction process.

Next is Haleslock. This item is not yet released to the public, and there is no other information about this. I have not seen or tested it, and it will be shipped directly from Shane Hales in England.

Finally, the third lock is a simple prototype produced by Ranier Popp. This is shown here and described here. To be clear, this prototype has nothing to do with the well-known "T"-series of Popplocks. Again, I have not seen or tested this, and it will be shipped directly from Shane Hales in England.

Auction proceeds will go to Laurie Brokenshire's ABC Swim fundraiser.
