Pieces made from oak and purpleheart; box made from bubinga and ropala lacewood. Base stamped with "T.WOOD", TW logo, and "902" (corresponding to the certificate number). Includes information sheet, packing solution, real solution, and original certificate dated 1993. Never sold—you will be the first owner!

Notes: The Diamond Book has a locking cover and a secret compartment for pencils. This was Kagen's personal sketchbook from 2004 to 2007, and includes 328 pages of his original notes (see extra photo). The sketches are genuine and cover a very nice cross section of Kagen's work and his design process, including sketches of the Nob Yoshigahara trophy made for Stewart Coffin, the Pattern Box, and the Diamond Book itself. The diamond mechanism is adjustable to work in any humidity. Made from bubinga, maple, wenge, and narra. Includes original certificate; limited edition #4 of 4, with one prototype. Includes a hand-written note (see extra photo) that could imply this was a prototype for future Twin Box and Unusual Secret Box designs, translated:
This unusual secret box is a trial model and I have no plan of reproduction in the future. To open the box, body of box should be move left and right and up and down as the way of opening of regular secret box. The surface is finished by wax and will be cleaned by wiping with dry cloth. This product won a prize at a competition. Okiyama
